Take debit or credit
Let Vev also handle the payments for your hair salon. Securely connect with Stripe to accept any type of online or offline payments with your hair salon. Popular methods for debit and credit cards such as Apple Pay, Google Pay are supported.
You can use any device you own as long as it has an internet browser. When you have an iPhone you can soon use Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Refunds are built-in
Depending on the cancellation policy of your hair salon, clients can also get a manual or automated refund when needed.
Scan to Pay
A QR code will pop up on your screen to let clients pay with their own device. Hairstylists can then accept payments for the full amount, or settle the remaining balance if they already paid a deposit via Vev. For iPhone we also offer tap to pay.

Is Vev's POS software for hairstylists free to use?
Yes! With Vev's hairstylist system we want to make starting a hair salon as easy as possible; that’s why you can use the standard version of the Vev POS for free. Allowing any hairstylist to do unlimited sales with their hair salon.
We do offer Vev+, a paid version of Vev. If you are just starting out then you won’t need its features, but they might come in handy as your hair salon starts selling more and more hair treatments. In fact, when you reach that point getting Vev+ is probably a no-brainer, when you don’t want to do a lot of admin at least.
Vev+ unlocks automatic tax reports, access to advanced client data, and a bunch of other other things. But, again, the regular Vev POS will always be free.
Can anyone start a hair salon with Vev?
Yes, and we hope that everyone that wants to do so. Vev is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the idea of helping everyone to build their dream hair salon without immediately going bankrupt.
You do need a name, and an idea of what hair treatments you want to offer for sale. If you need help with that, you can dive into the Vev Academy for help every step along the way. Guiding you from setting up your online hair salon to getting your first sale to selling out every day.
What payment methods are accepted with the hair salon point of sale software?
We work together with Stripe to facilitate payments, one of the biggest payments providers in the world.
Because of this your hair salon will be able to accept almost any form of payment. Apple & Google Pay, debit & credit cards, Ideal, Bancontact to name a few.

Can I set my own order policies?
That is completely up to you to set up.
We did fill in some things based on how we saw successful hairstylists before you do it, but you are completely free to change everything in line with how your hair salon operates.
Order deadline, refunds and cancellations are your domain, you know best how you want to run your hair salon.
